Dan Marsolais is a guitar player, songwriter, sound engineer and producer.
  
On the blues scene, it is with great pleasure that he recently joined singer Angel Forrest. He has been working with Bob Harrisson for the last 8 years. He has played 2 years with Lou Simon and about four years with Little Jo and the Hurricane, his own band. He won the CHOM FM Laurentide Rock Showdown contest  with his previous band Hurricane Jane and released an album under Aquarius label. He has played in numerous festivals such as Mt-Tremblant en blues, Carleton maximum blues, the Francofolies and seven times at the Monteal Jazz Festival.  

Guitar player and songwriter for Insolita, Robert Dethier’s world beat formation, he has played in Illinois, at Chicoutimi’s World beat festival and at the PGA Presidents Cup. He is playing on stage with baritone singer Gino Quilico on a show called Musical voyage combining Italian and French songs, Broadway, pop and opera almost everywhere in Québec.  

As a freelance guitar player he has played with many artists like singer Hugo Lapointe and Boom Desjardins among others.  

Throuhought his studio carreer he was in charge of Studio Strato for five years. He performed many tasks including producing, mixing and playing on many albums with a variety of artists such as Charlemagne, Les Colocs 2116, Alain Villeneuve (La Chicane), Éric Maheu (La Chicane, Kaïn), Noël en Blues (B.Walsh, Breen Leboeuf, Carl Tremblay, Jim Zeller, Little Jo), Patrick Bourgeois, Marc Gabriel, Bob Harrisson, Les BB. And… on a more humoristic note… he wrote RBO’s Bonjour la police… ;-)
